The last one

Well everyone, Im sorry, but i wont be able to email next week. So I have to apologize for how bad i was at emailing throughout my mission. So here is one final update just to let you all know how my mission is going!

Everything is perfect! Elder Cook and I were leading the mission for most people found for 2 weeks and this last week we dropped down to the top 10% ... But we have been working like machines. We have been having a ton of fun as well. I think we figured out the groove to missionary work.

My dad came to pay us a visit.

I cant think of anything else to add. It has been a wild ride, but I will never regret serving a mission. It was easily the greatest decision of my life so far. I know that the church is true, I know that the Book of Mormon is from God, I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that Russell M. Nelson is the current prophet. These are some things I have learned are true over the course of the past 2 years, and I invite you to strive to learn these for yourself.

I love you all, and I can't wait to see all of you. Have a great week!

Love,
Elder Williams

The start of the "Best Six Weeks"

Well, This week has been pretty awesome! I have started the last 6 of my mission!! It is crazy!!!

To start them off on the right foot, I got a new companion! Elder Cook from South Carolina. He is an awesome missionary and we get along better than fufu and light soup! We have been having an awesome time and we are going to work our butts off to make these next few weeks the best ever...

I am sad to see Elder LeDuc leave me, but he is going to an area that is a lot more simple to learn and to a companion that is a phenomenally patient and hard working missionary...I dont think it  could have worked out better for him.

Other than that, my mission is still flying by. We have been working hard and playing hard as well. (you cant have one without the other)... So here are some pictures of our adventures!!

Well, Have a wonderful week everyone!!

Not too many of these left, are there?

(from mom---these were sent in a personal message, but i thought i'd share...this is a goat...when i asked, "what is that? how did you cook it? etc. he answered: "Gas torch.. they slit the throat, and then burn all of the hair off... that way when you scrape off the char, you can eat the skin..then they boil the meat.")

Why is it that when you are having fun the time seems to fly? That has been the question on my mind for the past few weeks. My mission seems to be sliding away from me and it is really sad. I wish i had longer. But as i was sadly reminded this morning that i have just over 2 months left. But, I am going to keep on keeping on until my day comes!

These past couple of weeks have been the holidays and just true enjoyment as a missionary! We have been teaching a lot of really cool people lately and we are even hoping to have a couple of baptisms soon! But most importantly, I have been trying to work on bettering myself. I have been studying from Matthew about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, It is amazing to see all the verses i had skimmed through during seminary... I know Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. I know that if we look to Him we can receive forgiveness for our sins. I have seen it countless times here in Ghana and it always amazes me how much our Father in heaven loves each and every one of us. I love all of you! Have an amazing week!

Well, I thought it has been a while and a half...

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening... Whatever time it is wherever you are in the world!

I apologize for all of the weeks that you haven't been able to get an email from me. I hope all of you are doing well. I have been doing great here in little old Ghana! Life is awesome! Throughout the entire month of November, the weather during the day never dropped below 88 degrees... or whatever 29 Celsius is... (Thanks Global Warming) ... With all jokes aside, It has been hot. And that is no understatement. So we have been having quite a few sick days between my companion and myself. It has been great!

I dont really know what else to update you all on, so here are some pictures! I miss you all!

The Week of Pure Excitement

Well, Another week has gone by! And this one was way too exciting. On Tuesday, We had our district council where we played jeopardy with scriptures and we were able to discover that we all need to study a little bit better. Then on the way back to our area, Elder LeDuc and I got mugged!! (or attempted mugged?) what ever you want to call it...We had some guys try to rough us up... but after a little bit of shoving and a couple fists thrown, We had some people come to our rescue and pull the muggers away. So from there, we bolted back to the apartment. Nothing was taken, and neither of us were hurt. ;) So no harm done right??

The rest of this week I have been trying my hardest to get my greenie to eat some more of the local foods. So I will try to attach a video of him eating fufu for the first time.

Other than that, I have been trying to get him to adjust. So that has been quite a transition.

Well...Here are some cool pictures... Also, go and read 2 Nephi chapter 5 verse 15 and look at it as Nephi was using the best that he had to build a temple. It relates to us in the same way... We need to try our best with what skills or talents we have. Have a great week everyone!!

They call me Daddy.

Well, The past couple.. umm months? since i wrote one of these have been pretty awesome!! I got transferred (like the last email says), But it has been a great time! I got called as the district leader, and as a trainer again! So i am considered the "District Dad" and as a trainer i am a "father". Thats why i have the subject line what it is.... But it is an amazing experience! Because i got called to train, my former companion Elder Mokofisi

went on transfer for the first time on his mission. And he even got to head out to the bush!! I got a greenie by the name of Elder LeDuc.
He is brand new to Ghana and you can tell by the color of his shirt! They are so white!!! I guess i am old because all of my shirts have started fading brown. Too many washes i guess. But we have been having a blast!

I dont know if any of you got to watch General Conference this past weekend, but it was awesome!!

I took about 4 pages of notes!! For each session ðŸ˜‚ The Church is indeed true!! I know it with all my heart. I also know that Russell M. Nelson is a prophet of God! I strongly recommend listening to some of his talks. You cant deny that he was called of God after hearing his messages. What an awesome speaker!

Well, umm.. I dont really know what else to write about.. so if you have any questions, feel free to email me! Here are some pictures!!
