Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year!!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas and an even better start to the new year! (Sorry I missed last week)

Well, as you might have suspected, Christmas, New Years, and winter so far are nothing like I am used to. Waking up to no snow on Christmas morning, but instead 90 degree heat isnt something I would have ever guessed would be part of my life... But oh well! My Christmas and New Years were amazing to let you all know (even though that is old news) Our Christmas Feast at our Bishop's house:

Well, our adventures have started stacking up recently... My companion and I have started going to members houses and eating more often (so get ready to see more pictures of us with food ðŸ˜‰) It is amazing how little people here have, but they are willing to give so much to feed the missionaries. For our other adventures, we got 3 tongans and 4 others to fit into a tiny taxi (counting the driver)

... I caught a picture of my companion trying to beat me down the road while out proselyting,
I ate the head of a fish (not worth it), And we have extended a few baptismal dates to our people that we have been teaching! (instead of investigators that is what we are supposed to call them. "People we are teaching") We are super excited to get them to enter into the waters of baptism, but I think they are even more excited. (I will send pictures of them in a few weeks when we have the baptism)...

Other than that, the missionary life is pretty much the same! I hope everything is going well for all of you and that you have set some high goals for yourselves this next year "Set your goals up in the stars, because you may reasonably only reach the tops of the trees" My mission president.

Have a great week! I would love to hear from yall!

Love,
Elder Williams

A fish head that was in my soup... yes...i did eat it 😂

We went and visited a guy named Brother Tony and his fiance made us a special cake!! (It was super good by the way)

One of our members made us some beans and plantain! we ate it in their little food prep shack
