It has been a while since i wrote one of these, so i hope i can make this email at least par of what a missionary email looks like! So, over the course of the almost full month that i have missed, I got another companion! So that makes 9 companions! My new guy is named Elder Eshun.
He is from Port Harcourt Nigeria! He is a hard worker and so we have been doing a lot of service. Mainly out on the farms!
So recently we went and helped a family plant corn,
harvest coco yam
, and even pick some papaya
and coconuts! we have also been helping people get mangoes off their trees!
We have also had a few rain storms! One of which, we got caught in, and had to bike home (close to 5 miles) as fast as we could, in the pouring rain.
Long story short, We felt like we had just climbed out of the bath tub. We were soaked from head to toe. So that was pretty cool! My companion felt cold, so we decided to enjoy and drink some well deserved hot chocolate!
We havent had much success baptism-wise or teaching-wise. But we have been trying to just work on doing the most amount of service as possible. But, even missionaries get tired... so here is a random picture of my companion sleeping in a plastic chair
