Happy fourth of July everyone! I hope it went well for everyone!! They dont celebrate the 4th here in Ghana, but as an apartment, we had a fancy dinner... we went and bought 20 Goat Kebabs and a 2 liter of Fanta and had a nice relaxing time... but no fireworks or anything like that... it was still fun though
If you notice, the subject is a quote from one of my favorite movies ever... (the best two years) it is a super good movie, i encourage you all to watch it... but that is besides the point..... the reason i ask is because we handed out 113 Book(s) of Mormon(s) this last Saturday. Our Bishop was speaking at a funeral and he wanted us to give them out... so we did...
I also had the "great" idea to buy some sweats here... (it actually is a good idea... it is really nice to just lounge around sweats at night) but the reason that idea failed, is because i forgot that not only do i stick out because i am white, i am also much bigger than the people here in Ghana... so they were wayyyy too short and wayyyyyyy too tight... good thing the guy said i could bring them back and exchange him for someother ones if i need... but other than that, life is good here in Adenta...

Dear Elder Alex..... I love these Monday treats!! When I first saw the kebabs, I thought they were chocolate....oh well. 115 "Book of Mormon"s !! Wow! That should lead to many discussions, and hopefully conversions. I'm pretty sure that if the title of the book was "Mormon" you could say books of "Mormon". But the title shouldn't have an "S" in it. i think. (of course, at my age, thinking doesn't come easy). I am SO, SO, SO proud of you and all you are doing for our Savior, Jesus Christ. You are my hero!! love and miss....Gma
