How is it going everyone??
Well, i better just kick right in to "The Highlights" that i have had in recent days!
Our most interesting people we are teaching right now are named Emmanuel and Ben. So Emmanuel is a very interesting guy. He is in his early 30's and he weaves kente for a living (Kente is a super cool pattern/style of clothing here... i will send a picture of one of my kente ties to show you what it is).
So he contacted us a few weeks ago after church. He knew about the church, he knew that we were different than the "typical" church in Ghana, and he really liked that, so he had actually been claiming it as his own church for a while, he was just too afraid/busy to actually come to church. But he finally approached us and we started teaching him. He learned all of the lessons really fast and he seemed to love all of the lessons. So we had our district leader go through the baptismal interview with him and he passed with flying colors. We were going to baptize him this next sunday, but this last Friday, we went by to visit with him, and he told us that in order for him to be baptized, that our church needed to give him money. We explained that that is not quite how it works, and in doing all of this, learned that he was not completely ready to be baptized... so we will not be baptizing him this week.
Ben is a whole other story. He is in his late 60's and has attended almost all of the major churches in West Africa. He is truly searching for Christ's restored church. So we have been teaching him, he just has one major issue. He is a much older man, and so he has the tendency to tell stories... for hours.... we tried teaching him for the first time and we went to teach him about the restoration of the church. In 3 hours, we couldnt even get through 5 minutes worth of lesson. So we have adapted our teaching style to have him read more, and talk less. It seems to be working so far!
This week i decided that i wanted to live a healthier lifestyle. So i created a super workout and an awesome diet. I call it the "All The Girls That Didnt Date Me In High School Are Going To Regret It" diet. 
I guess we will see how it goes
Other than that, i dont really have anything super cool to share. So as usual, have an awesome week!
